These are methods of making large areas of balding smaller.
SCALP REDUCTION is the total or partial removal of a bald area. The poor results and many serious side effects have however made the procedure virtually redundant.
FLAPS are large pieces of hair covered scalp that are rotated to replace a section of bald scalp.

Natural, life long hair restoration is now available thanks to the development of current state-of-the-art techniques.
Hair transplantation involves removing a strip of permanent hair-bearing skin from the back or sides of the scalp (donor area). Using various techniques, the strip is then dissected into micrografts or follicular of 1 to 3 hair

These grafts are then meticulously planted into the bald or thinning area of the scalp (recipient area). The micrografts (1 or 2 hairs per graft) ensure that the hairline looks completely natural.
Small crusts will form on each graft within 24 hours and are shed in approximately 7-10 days.
The grafted hairs will often start to grow 8 to 12 weeks after the procedure and will continue to grow for life.
